Wye
’Wye’ is a piece written with the intention to transcribe an electronic piece to big orchestra. The electronics was originally a modified recording of me and my brother playing in the bath tub as children. Analyzing and using the same form as in the electronic piece I did an extended version of the electronic piece called Gnisselgliss. The picture to the left is the form of the piece Gnisselgliss.
The instrumentation of ’Wye' is:
3 Flutes, 2 Oboes, 3 Clarinets & 3 Bassoons
4 Horns in F, 2 Trumpets in C, 2 Tenor trombones & 1 Bass tuba
3 Percussionists
1 Piano
Violin I (12), Violin 2 (10), Viola (8), Cello (6) & Double bass (4)
