Cantai, ora piango

’Cantai, ora piango’ is a piece for clarinet, cello, percussion, indian harmonium and chord zither. It is written for the ensemble Mimitabu to be played at Spor-festival 2014.



The title is Italian and means ’I sang, now I am crying’. It is a line from a famous poem by the renaissance poet Francesco Petrarca.
